Nothing but masked dismissal

#IBM Italy decided to transfer 280 employees from different Italian location to Segrate headquarter. The company claims that the essential reason for the transfer is in the search for synergies and efficiency of the staff, even more than cost savings.

Motivation is so untenable that has been exposed with obvious embarrassment: in recent past the Customer Fulfillment (administration) has undergone a strong decentralization of activities to Madrid, and the Sales Transaction Hub (sales support) to Budapest, just because the activities can be carried everywhere, so why not in Rome, Bologna, Turin, Naples, Cagliari ...?

The request for a working organization analysis was rejected.
